Felipe Anderson returned to light training today (Mon) but the match at Manchester City will come too soon for the Brazilian who had been a near ever present before his injury.

Anderson sustained problem when falling heavily on his back  at Sheffield United on January 10 and is now expected to be available for the match against Liverpool after the international break.

Andriy Yarmolenko is also recovering well and should also be available for the visit to Anfield after an international interlude which on this occasion could work in the Hammers’ favour.

With Anderson and the Ukranian international on their way back it will allow Tomas Soucek and Jarrod Bowen  to become fully integrated into the training regime.

Bowen looks certain to make his debut for the Irons at Manchester City and the two free weeks ahead of the Liverpool game could be invaluable for him and the Czech international midfielder who was so impressive against Brighton.
