Felipe Anderson is close to agreeing a season-long loan with FC Porto.

News broke earlier in the day of possible interest from the Portuguese outfit and our own sources are claiming tonight that the deal is close to being done although nothing yet is in tablets of stone.

With the transfer window not closing in Portugal until Wednesday the Hammers are hurrying to complete a deal which would see the Brazilian join the  currently third placed Primera Liga outfit.

We understand that the Portuguese  are close to agreeing to paying a sizeable loan fee and are ready to meet the player’s £100,000 wages in full.

Anderson has been a massive disappointment this season and last but it now seems that he could be leaving the club and although the deal still hasn’t been completed it is expected that an option to make it permanent is likely to be included if progress continues to be made.

We understand too that there is much activity in the Jack Wilshere camp and that he too could be on his way before the window closes here and in Europe.
