Antonio summer question mark

Michail Antonio could find himself on Manuel Pellegrini’s summer departure list id the club received the right offer.

The manager has now had time to thoroughly assess the squad and Antonio is one of those who could find himself among seven players whose long term future at the London Stadium presents a question mark.

As a lover of technical players the manager wants to bring in new faces with more creativity to their game and there are behind the scenes whispers the 29 year old may not fit his long term plan.

With just four goals to his name from 32 appearances and two years left on his deal, Pellegrini could decide to cash in before his transfer value starts to slide next summer when he will have hit 30.

The former Hammer of the Year has had a mixed season and has made a number of substitute appearances this season.

With Andriy Yarmolenko due back for pre-season and Robert Snodgrass a favoured Pelle player, Antonio could be on his way, possibly to Palace who have held a long term interest.

Those who look set to leave are Andy Carroll, Lucas Perez, Arthur Masuaku, Adrian, Winston Reid, Pedro Obiang and Carlos Sanchez.

And of course there can be no certainty over Marko Arnautovic with Chicharito now perhaps looking the more likely of the two to stay.
