Michail Antonio is convinced the the injury-hit Hammers squad can mount a sustained Premier League push for a European place, as well as an FA Cup run.

He said: “We’ve definitely got the squad. We’ve got depth. We’ve already shown it this season.

“We lost six of our strikers and hung in there. Now we are starting to lose defenders. But we have shown that we’ve got the resilience.

“We’ve got to show that we’ve got the players that can step up and do the job that is needed.

Winston Reid – having suffered a hamstring injury – is expected back within two weeks and there are big hopes that Manu Lanzini will be available for the match against Blackburn Rovers at the weekend.
