So another anxious Saturday arrives with the fans looking at the fixtures of teams around us! Not good…really not good and we are all sick of it.
Thus far we have been very fortunate in that none of the relegation threatened teams did us any harm in the so called winter break.
We shouldn’t be having to do this but of course it’s the most natural reaction in the game when a team is in such bother.
On the face of it things don’t look TOO frightening today but at some stage one of those in the danger one are likely to hit a run of form and we’d better hope and pray it’s not today with us at Liverpool on Monday evening.
Bournemouth are at Burnley, Brighton are at Sheffield United, and Aston Villa at Southampton.
Anything can happen and mine is that the Cherries may collect a point and the other two are beaten. But who knows?
Moyes can’t complain about how things have gone on that front andhad better start getting results very soon.
