The family of a West Ham season ticket holder are trying to get Hammers supporters to join in with 33rd-minute applause for Lily Harris this Saturday lunchtime at the London Stadium against Spurs.

The 33-year-old young lady who had a season ticket for twenty years suffered from Cystic Fibrosis and had a double lung transfer at the end of October after a long battle with her illness but she sadly passed away on the 5th November.

The club has since confirmed that will put up a photo if the crowd break into spontaneous applause at the designated time.

Lily’s fiancee Chris Westwood took to social media to saySo touched that West Ham fans are planning a minute’s applause in the 33rd minute of the Spurs game as a tribute to my gorgeous fiancée Lily Harris who died earlier this month. Thanks to Baz Cox, Mark Messingham & ExWHUemployee for making it possible. Lily would love it”

Lily’s sister Prue Harris addedPlease applaud in the 33rd minute of the West Ham game this Saturday in memory of my sister Lily Harris who unfortunately passed away on the 5th Nov. Thanks so much for all of the awareness raised so far – we can do it!”
