Marko Arnautovic looks certain to return for the game at Huddersfield this weekend.

The club’s record signing has been missing suffering a hamstring problem but after two scans showed no serious issues he looks highly likely to have recovered sufficiently to start.

The club’s medics have put the problem down to a tight hammie but sources inside the club claim that he is okay and training in readiness for the match.

Michail Antonio is also back with the first team squad and hopes are high that he too will be in the squad which travels to Yorkshire.

However, Winston Reid – like Arnautovic – has also suffered a tightening of his hamstring and is likely to need a week minimum to recover.

Sam Byram is also back on the training pitch and should he not be available for Huddersfield – which hasn’t been ruled out – he will almost certainly be back for the game against Bournemouth on the 20th of the month.
