Arnie’s London-bound flight from Milan explained

Whenever we see a picture of a footballer jumping on a plane somewhere it’s a reflex reaction to assume that he may be on the move to some club or other.

When he’s West Ham’s top player and he is seen boarding an aircraft from Milan where his agent/brother was spotted last month with Inter Milan people then it’s easy for two and two to make 10.

Such was the case last night when Marko was pictured getting onto a London bound British Airways plane from Italy with a story alongside tagged Exclusive.

‘Man gets on plane’ may be exclusive but it’s an exclusive piece of nothing!

This is not a new transfer rumour in the making because football clubs are very adept at making secure arrangements to protect their interest from the public and other clubs when business is being done.

Were either of the Milan clubs or anyone else be interested in our striker be assured that he would have been flown into talks secretly by private jet landing at a non-public airport.

It has happened many times given the incredible secrecy surrounding such events.

Marko Arnautovic was given the day off like the rest of West Ham squad. He is not for sale and was not in Milan on transfer business.  Letting player targets jump on and off scheduled flights just doesn’t figure in the mentality of clubs for the obvious reason.

Relax everybody!
