West Bromwich Albion could yet make a permanent move for Grady Diangana if they are promoted to the Premier League.

Celtic, Rangers and Ajax have all been linked with Diangana, with reports suggesting he could fetch as much as £20m.

The player himself is said to be concerned about a lack of guaranteed playing time if he returns to West Ham and could force another move.

Former Baggies player Kevin Phillips has suggested it’s a move that could benefit all parties.

“In the Premier League, would I see him playing regularly for West Ham? Probably not,” Phillips told West Brom news.

I’m sure that if they go up, West Brom would like to secure his services and I’m pretty sure the player would like to stay at West Brom and play for them in the Premier League.

I’d like to see him in a Baggies shirt next season if they’re in the Premier League.”

Claret and Hugh say:

There is no doubting Diangana’s talent and how much he has improved since his regular action for the Championship side but he may find it difficult to hold down a regular starting place in David Moyes’s team next season. It may come down to him personally and whether he wants to fight for a first-team place like Declan Rice did or whether he would prefer to stay with West Brom and get a regular start under Slaven Bilic.
