West Ham ticket office have been beset by problems for the upcoming Betway Cup against Atalanta on 7th August

On Monday the club announced they were aware of a technical issue that a small number of supporters are experiencing with the ticketing site when attempting to purchase tickets for the Betway Cup. This has been raised with our system provider and we’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Ticket office phones were swapped with the club confirmed ticket lines are currently very busy earlier this week with long wait times.

Supporters have complained that purchasing a ticket for the pre-season friendly requires a West Ham client reference which is attached to a unique email address.

Parents have complained that their younger children do not have email addresses as many email providers require that a user be 13 or older to sign up for an email account.

The club is pushing ahead with a digital-only ticket for this fixture with an option to self-print from home. The club have said supporters will receive their electronic tickets 24-48 hours before kick off.
