And in reporting on his position Head of of medical and sports science Stijn Vandenbroucke has revealed that the Senegal forward will start training with the PL2 squad this week.
He will be with the youngsters for two weeks before returning to training with the first team which will put him in line for a place in the squad against Arsenal.
