Bilic is one of four bosses named as a Manager of the Month contender whilst Payet is in the frame to be named as Player of the Month.
www.whufc.com reports that should Bilic win he would join Harry Redknapp, Alan Pardew – who he faces at Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon – and newly-appointed Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce in winning the trophy.
Payet would follow in the footsteps of Stuart Pearce, Anton Ferdinand and Scott Parker, who have previously won the award.
