West Ham are certain to offer Slaven Bilic a new deal at the end of the season.

Earlier in the season Bilic commenting on the probability declared: ” “I have a contract, I said the same at  Besiktas – my contract is my work and only good work guarantees me that.”

Since then he has gone from strength to strength and the club are keen to tie down a man who has wanted to boss the Irons since starting his managerial career.

A source close to him told ClaretandHugh: “He loves the club – always has – and it’s a given that he be offered and agree a new deal at the club.”

And David Gold admitted in a former interview with us that  the manager had done a magnificent job and could be here for a very long tme.

Bilic – currently on a two year deal which is inferior to his predecessor Sam Allardyce’s in several areas – is likely to be offered a further three years.

But a top level source told ClaretandHugh exclusively that it is likely to include various conditions affecting survival declaring: “There are very very few managers these days who work on unconditial contracts.”

The club are set to offer a more lucrative contract which will see his annual salary improved and positional bonuses kicking in from around 15th place upwards – currently they start at 8th.

We were told: “The man has done a magnificent job and can take us forward – there is always the fear that there could a one season wonder scenario but we certainly don’t believe that to be the case.”
