Bilic knows what we are “capable of doing”

Slaven Bilic has revealed how badly everybody knew they had let themselves down against Spurs declaring: ““Sometimes you can be satisfied with your performance even when you lose, but not last weekend.

We had only ourselves to blame, and we all knew that straight away, which was good because we didn’t hide or make any excuses. We will do everything we can do bounce back on Sunday.”

The feelings were all the same from the staff and the players, we didn’t feel any different. Like the fans, we were hugely disappointed and we were angry to represent West Ham like that.”

And he added in this morning presser ahead of West Brom on Sunday: ““We haven’t done anything differently, after a game like Spurs you want to put it to bed as quickly as possible because you don’t want to let it affect confidence too much.

We always analyse our performances after every game, and that’s no different win or lose. We already knew mainly where we went wrong anyway.”

And he is very confident the team will bounce back insisting: “I believe in our players, I know what we are capable of doing. We haven’t dropped in form because it is only a few games, but we have dropped points.

I am also confident because in our last two home games, against Everton and Chelsea we played really good so we shouldn’t allow our confidence to go down.”
