Slaven Bilic has revealed that Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic owes him a free dinner after the Irons scored their fine victory over Spurs on Friday evening.
The Hammers boss had received a text from Matic before the match in which he promised him the meal should the Hammers beat Spurs.
According to the Hammers boss, who spoke to Sport Klub, Matic text him ahead of the game saying: “If you stop Tottenham, I’ll take you out to dinner.”
He added: “Matic is a wonderful guy, a great player. I will accept that offer with pleasure.”
