Bilic reads riot act at Sakho

Slaven Bilic today read the riot act at Diafra Sakho after the striker turned up for training following his crazy attempt to engineer a move to Rennes.

And it was entirely in line with ClaretandHugh’s report of last night (Thursday) that he faced stiff financial penalties should he break club rules again.

Slaven Bilic warned him about the likely repercussions and told him     West Ham insisted on an immediate improvement in his behaviour if he wants to avoid club sanctions.

Sakho apparently wanted to move back to France for reasons not connected to football. He travelled there earlier this week apparently to undergo a private medical, which was not sanctioned by the club, prior to a proposed £9million move to Rennes.

The Evening Standard reported Bilic as telling the  player that any future similar behaviour will not be tolerated and that he must stay fit and play a certain percentage of games before next January, when his position at the club will be further reviewed.

This is again in line with CandH’s report which had added should he get around the six goal mark from them he is likely to be offered a new deal or be allowed to move for £15 million.
