Bilic spoilt for choice

West Ham are set to have the entire squad fit for the clash with Huddersfield – although Marko Arnautovic will serve out the last game of his suspension.

And that could see Slaven Bilic  put out the strongest West Ham team we have seen in months and months.

ClaretandHugh has learned that both Winston Reid and Manu Lanzini will be fit for the game – barring training ground “accidents” – and that Andy Carroll looks certain to be on the bench.

Diafra Sakho is now back in training and there have been no further behavioural issues which could easily bring him into the team as a starter against The Terriers.

Most expect to see the manager adopt a “go for it” 4-4-2 approach to his first home game after adopting a back foot counter attacking formation during the three away games.

That was effective to some extent in the second half at Southampton but “less said soonest mended” as far as man U and Newcastle are concerned.

This is the team we could see next Monday night: Hart; Zabaleta, Reid, Ogbonna, Cresswell; Antonio, Kouyate, Lanzini, Obiang; Sakho, Hernandez.

That looks as strong as it gets with, fingers crossed, Carroll coming off the bench where there should be a place reserved for the unfortunate Declan Rice.
