Bilic unsure on Irons striker’s future

Slaven Bilic will make no decision over Ashley Fletcher’s future until he has sorted out his own striker comings and goings.

We understand that the manager remains uncertain of the former Manchester United youngster and is unready to make snap decisions.

Huddersfield have registered an interest in the player but the manager is adopting a wait and see attitude until he has completed his own search for new front men.

Fletcher made 20 appearances off the bench – often very late in proceedings – for just one goal against Manchester Unted in the 4-1 defeat at Old Trafford.

Many believe he should have been given more chances ahead of  the departed Jonathon Callieri but with newly promoted Huddersfield ready to pay a reported £5 million he could be on his way if the interest is firmed up.

Bilic, however, will wait until he is sure he has sorted out the team’s striking options before making his decision on the 21 year old.
