Diangana – will he become a Baggie?

David Moyes is open to offers for any of his wide men with the exception of Jarrod Bowen this summer.

Felipe Anderson is the favoured option for a departure as the Hammers look to raise funds but the most obvious bid on the cards will be from West Brom for Grady Diangana where Slaven Bilic – with funds at his disposal to mount a Premier League challenge.

The former Hammers boss has made absolutely no secret of his admiration for the 22 year old and an early bid would be no surprise and that would test Moyes’ resolve on the player.

The young Hammer  received rave reviews  while on loan at the Hawthorns  last season despite his campaign being interrupted by injury after Christmas.

Currently Moyes has Bowen, Anderson, Yarmolenko, Snodgrass and Holland available for wide roles and of those the Ukranian and the Brazilian would be his preferred departures.

But should no sensible offer emerge and Albion come in with a bid close to the £20 million  for Grady, the Hammers could be tempted should there be no other action on other players

The manager is keen to strengthen at the back and whilst some cash could be pumped in by the owners he’s aware that it’s basically a case of sell to buy – a scenario which will perhaps force him into making some difficult choices.
