As work continues to transform the Olympic Stadium into our home with the WestHamification project,  the de-WestHamification of the Boleyn Ground begins.

Following the end of the first online auction  this week, the West Ham crests have started to be removed from the exterior of Boleyn Ground leaving the stadium bare.

Much of the interior of the stadium now look looks soul-less as every trace of West Ham’s occupation is removed and stored for eager auction winners willing to part with hundreds and sometimes thousands of pounds.

Claret and Hugh understands the final hired pitch events and club stadium tours will be completed this weekend and The West Ham hotel will shut it’s doors to the public this Sunday, never to open again.

We understand the keys to the stadium will be handed over on the 1st August but in the meantime the stadium will be stripped bare of anything or everything that can be sold.
