Having played a major part in the Hammers success over Stockport County Jarrod Bowen is in a good position to discuss how he hopes it affects our future form.

Jarrod provided the assist for Craig Dawson’s header which saw us into the fourth round of the FA Cup and wants it to reflect in our Premier League. form over the next couple of games and beyond

As far as the Cup is concerned – despite it being a home draw against Doncaster next – the fifth round draw supplied the Hammers with a match from hell – away to either Manchester United or Liverpool.

However, Bowen has his eyes else and the winger is looking for us to carry our form – which has seen us keep clean sheets over three games against Southampton, Everton and County – into the Premier League.

Burnley arrive on Saturday and with one win, two defeats and a draw from their last four, is a game for which we will  probably be  favourites.

Looking ahead, Bowen told the official site at https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2021/january/12-january/jarrod-bowen-stockport-tie-was-what-fa-cup-all-about of his hopes.

He said: “There are a lot of games now coming thick and fast.

“We had a couple of weeks off, it was good to get another win, keep winning and keep that momentum.

“We’ve got Burnley and West Brom, two games we want to win, before we come back to the FA Cup. I think the key thing is to keep winning, keep the confidence high.”
