Hammer Jarrod Bowen is reported to have earned himself a substantial pay rise at the club,

The former Hull City man, who arrived at the London Stadium for the princely sum of £22m last January, has reportedly triggered a clause in his contract after reaching his 30th club appearance against Everton.

According to  The Athletic.by  featuring in the Hammers’ New Years Day clash, Bowen activated an automatic option which ensured a ‘significant pay rise’ for the home-grown talent according to the report.

Bowen made just 11 starts and two substitute appearances in the league for West Ham during the second half of last season. In that time, he only managed to score one goal but did end up providing four assists.

This season he has made 18 appearances in all competitions scoring four goals earning himself the tag of most substituted player in the Premier League which surprising considering his form.
