Jarrod Bowen has revealed that his biggest inspiration is Mo Salah amid his exceptional form for the Hammers this season.

The winger has been so good that he’s been regularly tipped for an England call-up.

Thus far this season, he’s scored six goals and laid on 10 assists, a record that shows he is ascending to the next level as a Premier League player.

Salah, by comparison, has been enjoying one of his most productive campaigns at Liverpool, scoring a staggering 23 goals in 26 games and also laying on 11 assists.

That output proves the Egypt international is truly world-class and Bowen is hoping to one day reach the forward’s level at the London Stadium.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard, the ex-Hull winger said: “I think Mo Salah is the perfect example.

“The goals he scores and assists he gets, the impact he has on games and consistently doing it every season since he joined Liverpool.

“He is definitely one that I look at and I think he is one of the best players in the world at the moment. As a player you always want to look at people in a similar position to yours and learn from them.”

Bowen has actually been linked with a potential move to Liverpool but he has a lengthy contract with the Irons that runs until 2025; he’ll be a Hammer for some time to come yet.
