Brady courts further controversy with rival comparsion
Brady wrote in her column “Man City ace Raheem Sterling only outdone by Eden Hazard this season…he is reaching towards George Best level. The 23-year-old attacker has hit 10 goals for club and country this season and SunSport columnist Karren Brady reckons only Chelsea’s Belgian wizard can match the City slicker. Harry Kane in the view of England boss Gareth Southgate, is the world’s best striker. But even the Three Lions skipper is being outdone by Raheem Shaquille Sterling, who leaves most teams twisted and turned like an eight-corded rope.
Many West Ham supporters have long believed that the Baroness’s Sun football diary is a conflict of interest and this is yet another example of praising an opposition player who helped thrash the Hammers 4-0 just last week at the London Stadium. To compare the late, great George Best to a current rival player is also a dangerous game in the world of football and is guaranteed to upset the majority of Manchester United supporters. I suppose at least she wasn’t comparing a rival team current player to the likes of West Ham greats Bobby Moore, Billy Bonds, Sir Trevor Brooking, Martin Peters or Geoff Hurst but nothing seems to scared in her football diary. Her previous columns have upset West Ham supporters, rival clubs, chairmen and players alike.
