Brady wrote in her Sun newspaper Column: “THREE cheers for Spurs who announce that the crowd in their new stadium will be extra-loud due to acoustic technology involving an aluminium-lined, curved roof and padded seats.
We didn’t consider such additions at the London Stadium. And, anyway, we like to think Hammers fans can make enough noise to raise our own spectacular roof.”
West Ham were accused of piping in crowd noise into the London Stadium at the beginning of the season, the suggestion was strenuously denied by the club who told ClaretandHugh at the time “West Ham United can confirm that they never have, and never will, play additional crowd noise inside the stadium. The support from our fans doesn’t need any amplification, they are always magnificent.”
After investigation it was traced back to Manchester United supporting TV commentator Martin Tyler made the unfounded comment on international coverage of a match. This was then repeated by Spurs fans on social media. As the saying goes, what goes around, comes around.
