Brazil have given Lucas Paqueta a call-up for their upcoming international games.

The attacking midfielder joined the club from Lyon in the summer transfer window, becoming the club’s record signing in the process.

Paqueta has already made three appearances for the club, with his debut coming as a substitute against Spurs; he also played against Chelsea in the Premier League and FCSB in the Europa Conference League.

The 25-year-old has won 33 caps for Brazil in total and has scored seven goals for his country during his career.

And he will look to add another few caps to his name later this month when Brazil go into international action.

They are scheduled to play Ghana and Tunisia on September 23rd and 27th respectively, with both games taking place in France, the nation in which Paqueta made his name, with Lyon.

He will aim to impress and also earn a spot in the World Cup squad; Brazil’s group at the tournament also features Serbia, Switzerland, and Cameroon.
