Brighton boss reveals Moysie’s caring gesture

Potter has guided Brighton to safety this season, with the Seagulls currently 17th, but 10 points clear of Fulham, who have already been relegated.
The two sides played out a 3-3 draw in February 2020; Potter managed his side in the game after his father sadly passed away.
And he has now revealed that Moyes showed just how classy he is by paying his rival boss a visit at home in order to comfort him.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the clash with the Hammers, as quoted by Sussex Live, the Brighton manager said: “I will always remember he came to see me when my father passed away before we played them last year – it was a nice touch.
“He did not have to do that but it just shows the type of person he is. I have huge respect and admiration for him.”
Potter has also hailed the work done by Moyes at the London Stadium, as the Hammers continue their quest to qualify for the Champions League.
He added: “I’m full of respect for him and how he has dealt with the challenges football has thrown up, he has always conducted himself with incredible integrity and professionalism.
“The way he has turned West Ham around is there for all to see, they have invested a lot over a few windows but haven’t quite got the team, you could say. Now you can see that and that is credit to David and his staff.”
