Brilliant Hammers prospect Nathan Holland returns to full training next week after a devastating four month injury hell.

The former Everton youth prospect tore his hamstring the day before David Moyes arrived but is now back having completed all his rehab work.

Academy boss Terry Westley told ClaretandHugh: “I remember the manager telling me how much he was looking forward to seeing Nathan and  me having to reply that he had a four month wait.

“Now he’s back and will be on the grass next week. He’s been very patient and worked really hard. I think we may well see him in action against against Manchester City in two weeks time.”

It’s great news for the club ahead of next season as Holland has long been touted as the one most likely to succeed and was on the brink of bursting into the first team reckoning before his injury.

O The Hammers under 23s today face Liverpool away in a match which should they win, will all but guarantee them a place in the Premier League 2 Division One next season.

They face a tough game against top of the table Liverpool who have 33 points from 16 games whilst the Hammers are in seventh with 22 from 16.
