CandH Exclusive: Hammers defender on thin ice

West Ham boss David Moyes will be ready to sell Issa Diop when he brings in another central defender.
There have been hopes that he will get a new player in this window but this is now beginning to look more and more unlikely.
One highly active agent in Hammers deals explained to us last night that he’d be surprised should the club bring anyone in but there was always a last day chance.
Moyes meanwhile – according to another of our sources – has decided that the Frenchman can leave once he has signed the player he wants.
The 25 year old had an extended spell in the team alongside Craig Dawson in Kurt Zouma’s absence but was notably struggling at times and following the summer signing’s return looks set for another spell on the sidelines.
And our source explained that once a new signing is made the club will be ready to entertain bids for him
