Exclusive By Joshie Southon

Michail Antonio’s suggestion that he could be on his way from the club has been ruled out by West Ham.

Antonio has made it clear he wants more first team action and in a conversation on Footballer’s Football Podcast,  he declared: “Honestly, I’ve not ruled anything out. That’s all I can say. Nothing has been ruled out. There are talks, so whatever happens, happens.”

Antonio has been linked regularly with Wolves but will have major problems should he wants away as things stand.

Obviously with Gianluca Scamacca and newly signed Danny Ings injured  Mikey is our only front line striker available.

However, after being with us for going on nine years Mikey insists he would be sorry to leave which is just as well as the club have explained to Claret and Hugh exclusive that is very unlikely in the present circumstances..

He explained: “I won’t be upset about staying and I’ll definitely be upset if I leave because obviously I’ve enjoyed my time here, but football is football.”

With Antonio being a top goal scorer for the Hammers we could’ve likely received around 10-15 million for him if we sold him to Wolves, although selling him to our relegation rivals – as has been the case with Craig Dawson – may not be the greatest idea.

A key Hammers source told us “He’s going nowhere unless we got a better striker in.”
