CandH Exclusive: Harry on Leeds rumour and Irons

Harry Redknapp – for me the most charismatic and colourful Hammers boss ever – will not be helping relegation strugglers Leeds United to avoid the drop.

Reports claimed that he  could be on his way north which might have put the Hammers in line for competition from H should he be the new man at the helm up there.

But the former Hammer has made it clear in an exclusive interview with Claret and Hugh that it won’t be happening.

He told us a few minutes ago: “I really have no idea where that came from, There has been no approach at all so no it isn’t happening.”

The veteran boss however still isn’t ready to close the door on a return to management and said: “If any club wants me to assist in a capacity I am always ready to talk.”

And as far as West Ham’s current situation is concerned he added: ” They are looking  better now and I think thy will probably be ok.”

Maybe, but as for me I’d love to see him back home at the Hammers despite him being 75 years old.

Ok I’ve just put my tin hat on!!!!
