CandH Poll: Landslide beckoning on standing issue

West Ham fans are telling those who refuse to sit down during games at the London Stadium to obey the rules and park their bums immediately.

ClaretandHugh has today run a poll which declares: “The issue of standing fans in the London Stadium rumbles on. Should those who are on their feet sit down or not in order to get the capacity up to 66k?”

With just over 1,000 votes cast the response is becoming a landslide in favour of those who want to see the persistent standers to sit.

A few minutes ago a total of 794 fans or 79.34 per cent said they wanted them to do so with just 176 (17.65 per cent) voting to carry on standing.

The issue has been causing problems among fans with the club having claimed that season tickets are under threat if the standing doesn’t come to an end.
