Bobby is the reason I started supporting West Ham. Simple. Paul Bounden
Classy, immaculate and dignified. An internationally recognized world class player who never forgot his east end roots. A true legend. Nick Gilbert
Bobby Moore wasn’t West Ham, he IS West Ham! He is the example that every player should aim to emulate-on & off the pitch. Bobby Moore, the legend that every club wishes they’d had. He was THE football card I would never swap! Such a HUGE loss to West Ham, and his family, far too young.
R.I.P. Bobby X CarolCombes
Still the best captain to have donned the claret and blue. We have had a number of fantastic captains, Billy Bonds but to name one, but I was brought up under Mooreo as a child and he will always be my idol and my favourite captain. Still wear the No 6 on a unnamed shirt to this day. Gone but never forgotten by this magnificent family. Cliff Hunter
A true legend and a real gentleman. Taken far far too soon Chrstine Pethers
Moore was the greatest defender that ever lived and none will surpass him. Pele once said, ‘There are defenders, then there’s Bobby Moore’. Pele had the upmost respect for him and Moore was the only footballer that could read Pele in a game. He was & always will be West Hams greatest player. Nigel Osgood
