Carroll suffers hamstring setback
The injury-prone striker who has scored twice in the last three league games, left the pitch after just 11 minutes and will be assessed properly on Wednesday.

He told Rob Pritchard for West Ham TV:“We started the game really well, we were on our front foot, we were dominating, we could have, should have scored in the first minute then unfortunately Andy got injured, then they scored the goal”
Slav added “Andy, it’s shame you know because he started great, he was dominate, he was quick, he was sharp, he was winning every ball he was covering, big pitch then one long sprint, a normal sprint and he was injured. It’s a big blow because he is back in shape. I don’t know it is still too early, it’s a hamstring, we can only hope that he isn’t going to be very long”
Speculation in the media suggests he will be out for between four and eight weeks but we need to wait for the scan results to confirm that.
