Carroll/Antonio fitness update
The big man left the action last night against Arsenal with Slaven Bilic claiming he was feeling the groin injury which kept him out for several weeks.
However, ClaretandHugh learned this morning that Carroll cannot play three 90 minute games in a week but that he will again be included for up to an hour against the Welsh outfit.
And despite leaving the action at the Emirates after playing 45 minutes following a a sickness bug earlier in the day, Michail Antonio is also set to play.
We were told: “Both are minor issues and there should be no problem with either of them for what is an incredibly important game.”
The rest of the team came through unscathed although it remains unclear as to whether Aaron Cresswell will be available. However given his level of form it’s likely that Arthur Masuaku will continue at left back.
