Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel Champions League final snub to Tammy Abraham could help David Moyes in signing the young striker over the summer.

Abrahams flew out to Portugal with the Chelsea squad but was not named in the 23-man squad that included two goal keepers and two left-backs on the bench.

Abrahams was Chelsea’s joint top scorer last season with Timo Werner, both scoring twelve goals apiece.

Tuchel also left Abraham out of the Chelsea matchday squad entirely for their FA Cup final defeat to Leicester City.

Abraham’s girlfriend, Leah Monroe, took to Instagram prior to the FA cup final after the Chelsea forward was left out, and she was furious with Tuchel.

“How on earth do you make the decision to leave your top goalscorer out of the squad for a final?! The same personal who even scored the goals to actually qualify for this competition? It’s not making any sense to me whatsoever.

“Not even on the bench?! This has to be a joke.”

Chelsea are believed to value Abraham at £40m but David Moyes is reported to believe that £25m would be a fairer price. The West Ham manager is on record to say he will not sign the 23-year-old at £40m.
