Championship club braced for bid

Blackburn Rovers are keeping a very close eye on West Ham’s pursuit of Armando Broja, according to a new report.

Football League World claims that the Championship club are watching on with interest to see if the Hammers are able to do a deal for the Albania international.

The Irons have placed Broja at the top of their striker shortlist this summer and want to bring him into the London Stadium.

But Ben Brereton Diaz is a back-up option for Moyes, as we have reported previously.

The Chile international was mightily impressive last season, scoring 22 goals in the Championship, and there is a feeling that he could be secured if Broja does not make the move to the Hammers.

The Hammers are ready and waiting to make a £30m bid to sign Broja, and that money could potentially be reinvested into a Brereton Diaz pursuit if he opts to move elsewhere or, potentially, stays at Chelsea.
