Chicharito – maybe not quite the end of Irons road

Javier Hernandez may well be advised to ‘wait and see’ rather than rushing out of the London Stadium door this summer.

Chicharito – who arrived as the summer marquee signing – has suffered a miserable time under both Slaven Bilic and notably David Moyes who bombed him out of Old Trafford when in charge.

Already his advisers are urgently looking for a new club for him but with Moyes’ future becoming more uncertain by the day, there could yet be a way forward for him at the Hammers.

It’s obviously a slim possibility with the player’s body language currently showing all the signs of him wanting out of the club under Moyes’ management.

However, he has shown with eight goals 33 appearances – mostly from the bench – that he retains an uncanny ability inside the box with his goal against Chelsea remaining fresh in the memory.

Under the right manager, and he was unlucky to find his old adversary Moyes arrive after Bilic, he could yet prosper in a new Irons set up.
