Close Goodison after this shocking event!

We’re very grateful that the cockney sense of humour hasn’t deserted us during our times of trouble.

What with the London Stadium issues and the defeat against Everton, which left us hovering over the relegation positions, there could be reason to lose the plot a bit.

But we’ve been here before and Twitter user West Ham Geezer ⚒ ‏@WHUFCGeezer clearly knows how to react in such situations.

His tweet at a quite disgraceful event at Goodison Park yesterday lightened the mood of us over here at ClaretandHugh Mansions and many on the CandH Facebook forum @https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/.

With his tongue very firmly in his cheek ‘Geezer’  tweeted: “This man (pictured above) ” hit my daughter with a sweet @Everton today. I want the ground closed and myself & my daughter are available for press interviews.
