Cole set for third return to West Ham

Former Hammer, Carlton Cole will make his third return to West Ham but this time it will be only to play in Mark Noble’s testimonial on the 28th March.

Cole signed for West Ham the first time in 2006 from Chelsea. During his time as a Hammer he made over 230 appearances for the club, scoring 58 goals, and has seven England caps to his name. On 21st May 2013 after seven seasons, West Ham announced that Cole would be leaving the club at the end of the season when his contract expired.

In October 2013, Cole rejoined the club and signed a short-term contract with West Ham, keeping him at the club until January 2014. He then signed an 18-month contract keeping him at the club until the end of the 2014–15 season.

In October last year, Cole signed for Scottish champions Celtic on a two-year deal lasting until 2017.
