The Irons will be very aware that Liverpool in sixth place are a big threat to their hopes and that makes the game against Thomas Tuchel’s team incredibly important.
With Leicester City beating West Brom 3-0 last night and Liverpool looking to be big favourites against Newcastle tomorrow the Hammers need a win to return them to fourth place.
That would push them three points clear of the Blues and five ahead of Spurs who managed a very late 2-1 win over Saints.
In a week when Chelsea and Spurs shown their disrespect for the Premier League before joining the proposed European Super League and then withdrawing in the face of massive protests, a win has probably never been more eagerly sought.
Let’s hope and pray we can teach them a big tome lesson after such arrogance towards the fans.
Hammers likely team: Fab; Coufal, Diop, Ogbonna, Johnson; Noble, Soucek, Benrahma, Fornals, Lingard, Bowen.
