Critical moment in Hammer’s future

West Ham ‘s long standing big prospect Nathan Holland is facing a make of break year at the club.

Holland has had his share of injuries but has always been seen as a star in the making who frustratingly has failed to make it into the first team beyond two appearances.

And at 23, with the left-wing berth looking for a player who can occupy the position on a regular basis, this has to be the moment when he shows he has what it takes…or otherwise – given the opportunity.

He has been capped at under 16, 17, 18 and 19 level but his most ‘successful’ spell at domestic level was last season when he played for, and drew interest from Oxford for a permanent move, after playing 10 games for two goals.

With Felipe Anderson gone and Arthur Masuaku injury prone it now remains to be seen whether David Moyes has seen enough – and trust the plyer at 23 years of age – to take his chance at Premier League.

The next few weeks will surely reveal his future with a loan, permanent move or the chance to finally make his name at the club the options.

It’s a critical moment in the young man’s career after being involved in both pre-season fixtures at Dundee and Northampton.
