Free-agent Ryan Fraser has been offered a contract worth a reported £50,000 per week by Crystal Palace.

The winger is a free agent after leaving Bournemouth when his contract expired on June 30.

Fraser’s Bournemouth deal, signed back in February 2017 when he was just starting to make an impression at the top level, was initially worth £27,000-a-week.  The Eagles have already snapped up 19-year-old right-back Nathan Ferguson on a free from West Brom.

Yesterday Fraser topped a Claret and Hugh poll of the free-agent most supporters would like David Moyes to sign.

The Eagles are reported to have made the first move for West Ham transfer target Eberechi Eze which QPR quickly rejected.

Initially, it was reported to have been a £12m offer plus add-ons but has since been amended to suggest it was an £8m bid with £4m of add-ons.

QPR value Eze around £20m and will be in no hurry to seal a deal if others like West Ham are interested.

Palace is also claimed to lead the race sign Brentwood striker Ollie Watkins but have yet to make a formal move for the striker.
