West Ham boss David Moyes  look certain to leave Andy Carroll out of the squad for Saturday’s match against Leicester City unless he receives the apology he believes he’s due at training today.

After being sent home following his Manchester City activity on Sunday, he and the rest of the senioe squad were on day off yesterday but will is expected back today.

Moyes has a big decision to take  with most inside the club looking for the pair to find a solution rather than the sort of scenario we saw involving Diafra Sakho before his departure in December.

They believe that Carroll’s ability to make a goal scoring impact from the bench is of vital importance as the team heads into the final three games particularly at Leicester -from a game from which we truly have to take something.

The Hammers boss will get a boost with Pedro Obiang is set to rejoin the squad for the game after making a quicker than expected recovery from a knee injury against Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup in January.

How much action he will see is clearly dubious but any return by the defensive midfielder for the final three games will be more than welcome as he he has been sorely missed as a defensive midfielder.

James Collins too finally looks  ready to return from his hamstring injury which could release ionto a midfield role against the Foxes.
