West Ham manager David Moyes has told unhappy supporters that their support will be vital to surviving in a Premier League relegation dogfight.

He has told fans they can play their important part by getting behind the team suggesting that crowds can have a real influence on the team and individual players.

Speaking in published club quotes ahead of the Manchester City away game on Wednesday night Moyes said: “Stick with the team, your support is going to be vital.

At home especially I think you can play your part and you can be an influence. We have had very few decisions since we have been here I have felt that have gone for us and at times the crowd can influence that and we need to try and get behind the team which they have been to be fair.

“And I have to say they have been great with me, they’ve really supportive and helped me since I have been back and I have to say stick with us and hopefully we will turn it around.”

Claret and Hugh say: It is hard to disagree with the gaffer’s words and sentiment in fans being the twelfth man for West Ham both home and away. Inside the stadium, we have to show our support with loud voices and familiar songs to encourage another great escape from relegation.

The rest will be up to the manager and the players to do their part and with al his player available and results currently going in our favour at the bottom we have every chance of surviving.

Never stop believing!.
