The ignominious record for the most own goals in the Premier League is held by Richard Dunne. In his Premier League career, Dunne scored 10 own goals while representing Manchester City, Everton, Aston Villa, and QPR.

Next is Jamie Carragher with seven own goals. …  Former Hammer Rio Ferdinand scored five own goals in his career.

Dawson has made the record books by scoring own goals in two consecutive Premier League, he scored his first for Manchester United and his second for Arsenal in Sunday’s 3-3 draw. Dawson has scored three own goals in total during his footballing career.

Dawson wasn’t alone in his own goal endeavour with Tomas Soucek joining him at the London Stadium over the weekend.

West Ham became the first team since Swansea City in 2017 to score two own goals in on Premier League game on Sunday.
