David said “Our ambition is first to remain in the Premier League which will make us stronger [then] go to the Olympic Stadium debt free and compete at the highest level“When it was suggested by one West Ham fan that ‘survival isn’t the priority but the fans are’ he added: “The fans are the lifeblood of a football club and that will never change. However more fans come to watch a Premier League club than a division two club. Ask any Portsmouth fan”
