Grady Diangana could be on his way back to West Ham in January following Manu Lanzini dislocating his collarbone in the match against  Burnley yesterday.

Manuel Pellegrini had revealed in his presser before the game that a decision had been made to let the winger remain at West Brom to continue a successful loan spell under former Hammers boss Slaven Bilic

But with Lanzini being hit by an injury that could keep him out for anything up to 16 weeks there is now a much stronger possibility that the Hammers will require the player to return for the second half of the season.

We asked the question of a major source this evening and were told by e mail that the situation would now be reviewed on January 1st as the fortnight’s release clause in his contract begins.

There now has to be a big chance of Grady returning – possibly along with Josh Cullen – as the manager looks for fresh legs and real energy in the middle of the park.
