Disappointment for Moyes and Sullivan

David Moyes and David Sullivan are this morning reported as having watched possible summer targets as  the Czech Republic beat Scotland 2-0 at Hampden park yesterday.

Chairman’s son Jack Sullivan was also spotted at the game.

The report comes per Hammers News who correctly imply the pair would have been disappointed with what they saw – Tomas Soucek and Vladi Coufal excepted.

It has become pretty clear the Hammers remain keenly interested in targets from the Czech international team given their more than useful links with Slavia Prague.

But they will have learned little from yesterday’s game where the once named target, Spartak Moscow’s Alex Kral had a less than average game and was subbed.

Adam  Hlozek came on but was barely involved.

Star of the show was double goal scorer Bayer Leverkusen star Patrik Schick who produced one of the best front man performances seen at the tournament so far.

He, however, is unavailable with a contract until 2025 and valued at well over £30 million.

The hunt continues!
