Enner Valencia has been discussing his game  and is beginning to look like West Ham manna from heaven.

Having described his situation yesterday – and his aim of making the first game against Spurs – the Ecuador striker has told the irons fans just what they can expect from him.

Taking to the official site at www.whufc.com he said: “I can play all over, centre-forward, on the wing and even behind the forward.

“I’m a very quick player, I work very hard, I’m always trying to work when I don’t have the ball to be in a good position to receive and finish. I hope I can bring a lot of happiness to the West Ham fans.”

He’s disappointed Andy Carroll in injured but is ready to carry the burden of leading the line alone if necessary.

He said: “It’s a shame that Andy’s injured again. I’ve watched him play and he’s a fantastic player. I’m hoping to learn from him, to play alongside him and hopefully we can achieve great things together here.

“As a professional I’m used to pressure and playing in the Premier League that pressure is always going to be there. I’m going to work hard, try my best and the results will come.”
